Let conflict be within you; between your body’s material desires and greed on one side and your soul’s spiritual needs on the other…
Let it be conflicts in family relations, between husband and wife, father and son, mother and daughter……..
Let it be in office relations between boss and you, you and your colleague or between you and your subordinate;
Let it be in business relations, between business partners, union and management
Let it be in community relations; between Jews and Palestinians, whites and blacks, Hindus and Muslims……..
Let it be in political relations between opposing political parties, between nations and countries………
You have a conflict to be solved every moment. Life is a struggle to solve conflicts. Life is an unending journey in search of a conflict-less state of mind called “PEACE OF MIND”.
Life is a journey in search of PEACE. PEACE is the ultimate HUMAN NEED on earth.
YET, we do not realize PEACE as a need and goal. Most of us live and die unsatisfied, without finding peace, hoping to enter a peaceful world after life in the Kingdom of God.
The purpose of Peace On Earth Mission (POEM) is to realize that PEACE is possible in our lives and we can create Kingdom of God among us! It starts with the awareness of PEACE as a human need and goal.
Peace on earth is possible. Peace can permeate throughout the world and even after death for those who believe.
To accomplish this goal we need to intentionally plan and work for PEACE. We need to make it our MISSION to to get on the right path and make the march for PEACE a reality.
When you join the POEM Family, we will become partners in exploring, researching, defining and understanding peace.
We will know the fundamental requirements for, and supporting pillars of PEACE
We will draw a road map with a critical path to PEACE
We will recognize and declare PEACE as a goal, a HUMAN NEED, to be achieved.
We will realize that suffering is caused due to our greed to fulfill the unending material needs and ignorance of our self actualization needs and heavenly peace as our main goal. This awareness will motivate us to retune our lives.
By living our lives as Missionaries of PEACE, we will become contributors to peace of mind, joy and harmony in the world.
